Georgia Friends Of Midwives are inviting all Midwives and consumers to put on their prettiest hat and gloves and join Georgia Friends Of Midwives and BOLD Atlanta for our High Tea with the Midwives gathering on Saturday, September 19th, 2009.

Tea and sweets/breads will be provided.

We hope this to be a gathering in fellowship as well as an opportunity for consumers to get to know and honor all the various midwives of Georgia for their good works.

Georgia Friends of Midwives is a consumer group concerned with issues surrounding the problem of very limited birthing choices in our state.
GFOM was formed in 1990 in response to legal and political challenges to Georgia's midwifery community. We advocate the preservation of safe, accessible and affordable childbirth alternatives as exemplified by the Midwives Model of Care™,
including midwife-attended birth at home and in birth centers.
